NextBlind vs Final Table for a home poker league
NextBlind is a browser-based tournament clock built to run the night: blinds, a TV display, QR sign-up at the table, rebuys, seating and payouts. Final Table runs the night too, and is built around the recurring league: email invites and RSVPs, automatic reminders, and season standings with rivalries and badges. Here is how they compare, with a source for every claim about NextBlind.

What is NextBlind?
NextBlind is a browser-based poker timer and tournament clock for home games and poker clubs. One link runs the blind timer, seating, payouts and a TV display, and players join without an app or an account.[1]
NextBlind fits if
- You want players to sign themselves in at the table by scanning a QR code, with their name and photo on the TV.
- You want the TV to cycle through several screens: the clock, every player, the prize pool and registration.
- You run a commercial room or several venues and want a white-label option.
- You mostly need one night run well, and keep the season's records somewhere else.
Final Table fits if
- You run a recurring league and want invites, one-tap RSVPs and reminders sent by email.
- You want season standings with rules like best N games or drop the worst, plus head-to-head records and badges.
- Your league has up to 18 players and you want to stay on a free plan.
- You want unlimited players for a lower monthly price than a commercial plan.

Where Final Table is different
Built for the season, not just the night[16]
Final Table emails each game invite, players answer with one tap without logging in, and reminders and a calendar feed take care of the rest. NextBlind's product pages describe running a tournament (setup, structure, live controls, players and payouts); we found no mention of invites, RSVPs or reminders.
Standings rules, rivals and badges
Season and all-time standings, scoring presets such as Dr. Neau, head-to-head records and badges are on the free plan. On the League plan you can count each player's best N games or drop the worst N, require a minimum number of games and mark championship qualifiers.
A bigger free plan[11]
Final Table's free plan covers one league of up to 18 players. NextBlind's free Homegames plan covers up to 9 players.
Unlimited players for less[13]
Final Table has unlimited players from $9 a month (League plan). On NextBlind, the Supporter plan ($7/month) goes up to 20 players and unlimited players are on Club at $29/month, which also covers commercial use.
Standings and profiles anyone can open
Share a league's standings or a player's profile with a link that opens without an account, and turn it off whenever you like.
Where NextBlind is the better pick
Players sign themselves in at the table[5]
NextBlind puts a rolling QR code and a join code on the TV; players scan it, enter a name and an optional photo, and appear on every screen. In Final Table, players RSVP from an email before the night and the host checks them in.
A TV display with several screens[17]
NextBlind's display can loop an overview, a grid of every player with seats and rebuys, a prize pool podium and a registration screen, and you choose how long each stays up. Final Table's TV shows one clock layout.
Plans for commercial rooms[14]
NextBlind's Club plan includes commercial use, and its Partner plan offers white-label and multi-venue setups. Final Table has no white-label option.
Run the room with a co-host[18]
NextBlind presents handing a tablet to a co-host as part of the product, and its pages don't tie it to a plan. In Final Table, more than one manager per league is on the League plan.
Switching from NextBlind
- 1
Create a free Final Table account and set up your league. Put your buy-in, rebuy, add-on and bounty prices under House rules.
- 2
Enter your chip set and blind levels, or let the generator build the blinds from your chips. There is no import, so copy your NextBlind structure across once; it is reused every game.
- 3
Add your players. A name is enough; add an email and they get an invite to claim their profile, but nobody has to sign up to play.
- 4
Pick a scoring preset or enter your points per place, and start the season fresh. Past results don't carry over.
- 5
Schedule the first game. Players RSVP from the email, and on the night you open the TV page on your TV and pair it from your phone.
Questions, answered
Yes, for up to 9 players: the Homegames plan is free with no time limit and includes the timer, TV display, payouts and QR sign-up. Supporter is $7 a month for up to 20 players, Club is $29 a month or $290 a year for unlimited players and commercial use, and Partner starts at $149 a month. Final Table's free plan covers up to 18 players; paid plans start at $9/mo or $79/yr.
Its site describes running a tournament: the clock, players, seating, payouts and the TV display, and its blog says it tracks buy-ins, rebuys and payouts across events. We found no mention of season standings, points formulas, invites, RSVPs or reminders. Final Table has all of these.
Not on either. NextBlind players join a tournament by scanning a QR code. Final Table players RSVP from the invite email with one tap, managers can add players by name, and shared standings and profile links open without an account.
Neither. NextBlind's own comparison lists it as online-only. Final Table needs a connection to run a game, though its countdown keeps going through a short drop and a level that ends meanwhile changes on schedule once the connection returns. Pausing or logging rebuys wait for it.
No. Final Table has no import. You add your players (a name is enough), set up your blinds and scoring once, and start a new season.
