Where the money goes
12 entries × $50 = $600 in all · 20% goes to bounties
The winner keeps their own $10 bounty, so the 11 knockouts and the winner’s bounty add up to $120.
The prize pool, paid by finish
- 1st$240 (50%)
- 2nd$144 (30%)
- 3rd$96 (20%)
Let the app keep track of who busted who.
On Final Table’s clock, tap “Out” and pick who busted them. Each bounty is added to the knocker’s winnings with the results (a rebuy never takes back a bounty already won), and knockouts count toward season stats and the Bounty Hunter badge. Free for up to 18 players.
Questions, answered
Part of every buy-in becomes a bounty on that player's head. Whoever busts them collects it on the spot, and the rest of the buy-in goes to the prize pool as usual. It gives everyone a reason to play, even when they're short of the money places.
When you bust someone, you take half of their bounty in cash and the other half is added to the bounty on your own head. Bounties grow as the night goes on, so the big stacks become the big targets. The winner collects the bounty on their own head as well. With a whole-dollar bounty, round the cash half down to the dollar and put the rest on the head, so every bounty stays in bills.
A standard knockout usually puts 20 to 33% of the buy-in on each head, like $10 of a $40 game. Progressive knockouts often go up to 50%, since half of every bounty stays in play. The more you put in bounties, the less the final table wins.
Yes, in most rules. Nobody busts the winner, so they keep the bounty on their own head: the starting bounty in a standard knockout, everything it grew to in a PKO.
A rebuy pays a full entry again, so the player comes back with a new bounty on their head. The bounty paid for busting them the first time stays with whoever busted them.
The player who wins the pot that knocks them out. If that pot is split, split the bounty the same way. With side pots, it's whoever wins the pot the busted player was all in for.
