Step-by-step instructions, what each color means, and how the numbers are worked out.
Players
Type each player once. Their names fill every dropdown, standings table and leaderboard in the file.
League rules
Buy-in, rebuys, add-on, bounty, a season pot, how prizes round, your points system (a points table, players outlasted, square root, logarithmic or Dr. Neau), payouts for every field size, best-N games, a qualifying minimum and your other house rules.
Season TEMPLATE
Duplicate it for each season. Log each game as one row per player: finish, rebuys, add-ons, knockouts. Points, prizes, bounties and net fill in, with a sorted leaderboard, player stats and a list of games beside it.

How to use it
- Players: type every player's name, once.
- League rules: set the buy-in and the rest of the money, pick a points system, and set how many places each field size pays. Not sure? Read poker league points systems and payout structures.
- Each season: duplicate the Season TEMPLATE tab and rename it.
- After each game: add one row per player to the game log: game number, date, player, finish, rebuys, add-ons and knockouts. Everything else fills in.
Red cells flag a mistake to check: a player listed twice in a game, two players with the same finish, or a row missing its game number.

Right-click the "Season TEMPLATE" tab and duplicate it (in Excel: Move or Copy → Create a copy), then rename the copy. Every season reads the same Players and League rules tabs, so there's nothing else to set up.
A points table you write yourself, or a formula: players outlasted, square root, logarithmic or the Dr. Neau formula, plus optional points for playing. You can count every game or only each player's best N, and set a minimum number of games to qualify.
Each night's prize pool is every buy-in, rebuy and add-on, less any season pot. It's split by the row of your payout table that matches the number of players, so a 6-player night and a 16-player night can pay differently. Every place but 1st is rounded down to an amount you choose, and 1st gets the rest.
