Your game
The classic league formula: field size and buy-in raise points, rebuys and add-ons lower them.
n = players · p = finish place · m = multiplier (1 here) · b = buy-in · s = what the player paid in

Let the league do the math.
Final Table scores every game with the preset you pick, adds it to the season standings, and on the League plan counts only each player’s best games.

A sample game: change anyone's knockouts, or deal another. An example only: nothing here is saved.
In a Final Table league (League plan), the formula scores every game the moment results are saved, with each player’s real rebuys, add-ons and knockouts.
Questions, answered
The most popular home-league points formula: points = √(players × buy-in² ÷ what you spent) ÷ (finish + 1). A bigger field or a bigger buy-in is worth more, and rebuys and add-ons lower your score, so the player who won on one buy-in outscores the one who bought back in three times. In a game with no buy-in it becomes √players ÷ (finish + 1).
If your games are about the same size every week, a simple points table works fine. If the field changes a lot, use a formula: beating 20 players should be worth more than beating 6. Players outlasted is the easiest to explain, square root rewards deep runs, logarithmic makes winning count most, and Dr. Neau adds the buy-in and charges for rebuys.
Yes. Under the table, write a formula from {players}, {place}, {buy_in}, {spent}, {rebuys}, {add_ons}, {knockouts} and {prize_pool}, with + − × ÷, ^ and functions like sqrt, ln, min, max and if. For example, 10 * sqrt({players} / {place}) + 2 * {knockouts} adds 2 points for every knockout. It gets its own column in the table, and the sample game lets you set each player's knockouts and rebuys to see what they'd score.
It scales every place by the same amount, so it never changes who is ahead. It only makes the numbers nicer to read on a leaderboard: 22.4 points instead of 2.24.
Many leagues count each player's best 10 of 16 games, or drop their two worst, so one bad night or a missed week doesn't sink a season. Final Table can do either, and set a minimum number of games to qualify for the season championship.
